On the Domaine de La Terrasse, there are several buildings:
The Former Royal Cloth Factory where there is today a business center with accommodation and a restaurant.
The Castle, which has been through several eras: Middle Ages, Renaissance and contemporary. In the part built in the Renaissance and recently rebuilt, there are 3 reception rooms, a store, in the oldest part which dates back to the Middle Ages (basement), we discover the "Gallery of Remains" composed of several vaulted rooms. One retracing the industrial history, another dedicated to the material and one dedicated to the wines, a crypt, dyeing basins, a well, temporary and permanent exhibitions are proposed.
Mills, an old forge, several hundred meters of ramparts, an old port.
In the park of the castle you can see vestiges: a basin, a tower...
These different elements are visible during the "Walk of the Ramparts".
The Church dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi, from the 16th century, is being restored and rehabilitated for the development of cultural and tourist activities.
Part of the green spaces of the Domaine de La Terrasse is located in the Natura 2000 zone.
Visits are made all year round by appointment.
The Domaine de La Terrasse is located in a historical district of Carbonne.
